Can't find Aria in my Wi-Fi networks

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I updated my modem to the new Optimum 5G and my aria scale is not syncing anymore. I tried multiple ways to reset the scale: take the battery out, tap to change wi-fi network and then neither my phone or computer see ARIA in the list of available networks to connect. How can this be solved without having to downgrade my wi-fi connections, routers etc at home? seems like Fitbit should send an update or upgrade the technology.

I am having the same issues. My scales have always worked fine, but haven’t synced since 23/1. Are you with Virgin Broadband??? I have tried all the regular things to connect the scales, but it still can’t connect to the WiFi.

any suggestions?

@Twinkle75 Welcome to our Fitbit Community and it's great to see you here! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scales are not connecting to your networks. Please check out this help article, which contains a list of the router settings that the Aria scale requires in order to connect. Also, the bandwidth required is 2.4GHz.

Finally, make sure that your WiFi passwords are alphanumerical only and contain less than 31 characters.

Keep me posted if your scales are still unable to connect even after changing the settings.

Thank you for your reply. I feel that while the settings you mention will help and possibly solve the problem, I will be downgrading my internet connection. All was well until my internet provider sent me a new router for 5G and the aria stopped syncing. Every other device in my house adapted seamlessly. I think you guys need to update your technology because it is becoming obsolete.

@Twinkle75 I totally understand that you don't want to change your router's bandwidth. However, I'm afraid that we don't guarantee that it will connect with routers running 5G. I really appreciate your feedback since this helps us to keep improving.

@Spitspot I'm so glad to hear that your husband managed to get your Aria synced with your WiFi. Thank you for letting me know. Don't hesitate to get back if you need further assistance and I'll be happy to assist you.

See you around!

Hi,

I recently had exactly the same frustration!!!

It got solved by swapping to use Apple APP, instead of  my Samsung app.

Hope it helps your situation.

Cheers
