Having ongoing connection/setup issues with my Aria scale, and I'm pretty sure I have an expensive paperweight now.
For more than a month, I've been getting the "thinking - thinking - ERR" message when I try to use the scale. Multiple attempts to reset by taking out the batteries and resyncing have been unsuccessful. Can't weigh myself to reset because I can't even get that far.
I have taken the scale into Setup mode many, many times (20 plus at this point) to get it to reconnect to my WiFi. The very few times it actually does find and accept my network credentials, it never finishes setup and kicks me out, starting the process all over again. I have tried this from both my iPhone and desktop Mac.
I found another thread where it said to remove my Aria from my account entirely and then re-add it as if it's new. Tried that, but oops -- it won't add and won't connect to any network. It's a constant loop of Setup mode with no conclusion and doesn't connect to my account. So now, no scale attached to my account, let alone to my network, and no doubt still have the "Thinking Thinking ERR" issue if I ever do get it reattached.
I have been scouring these forums for answers for weeks and this is as far as I've gotten. I've tried more than 10 times today to get this reset and it's just not going anywhere. Anybody else having luck?

I'd like to add that I have tried the web-based setup method as well as through the apps, and it's just as frustrating and does not ever finish setup.
I started having this issue after I replaced the batteries with fresh ones, not that I think it should make any difference.

Exactly the same here, it seems that programmed obsolescence is part of fitbit plan...
I had 3 fitbit watch and this scale, they all died prematurely.
If I can't fix my Aria problem, Fitbit does not exist anymore for, I'm so disappointed.

I had a Fitbit Charge last year and I loved it -- until it just straight up stopped working 6 months after I received it, and nothing I tried or Fitbit tried would revive it. Verrry weird. I notice nobody is trying to help get this scale reconnected to my account -- not a great look ...
