hi
I don't have a smartphone and don't want one but I do have reasonable amateur tech knowledge and a decent laptop. I have BT broadband and a smarthub. I use several bluetooth devices including fitbit inspire HR which I set up. I bought a fitbit aria 2 scales but can't set it up via bluetooth. It does come as paired and appears as a network but won't connect when I go into the Fitbit app on my laptop. i have windows 10 and bluetooth drivers seem to be up to date. I have tried . going close to the router and resetting.
Do I need a smartphone in which case I will sell the Aria or can I get it set up on my laptop?
thanks

If your laptop is running Windows 10, you should be able to set up the Aria 2 scale with your laptop. Check out the Aria 2 Manual here.
From page 3 of the manual: "For the best experience, we recommend pairing your scale to the free Fitbit app, available on iOS, Android, and Windows 10 mobile devices, as well as Bluetooth enabled Windows 10 computers."
