In short: Is it possible to sync the Aria Air via a desktop computer running the Fitbit App on Windows 10? I have not been able to do so.
Longer:
My mother has been using an Aria scale for some time which has synced with her desktop computer over wi-fi. This stopped working and she has just been given a new Aria Air as a gift.
The specifications for the Aria Air states that it works with iOS or Android phones, or Windows 10 devices. She has a Windows 10 PC with Bluetooth and the latest available Fitbit app installed (2.44.1997.0 as of today).
While she has two older Android phones they do not run Android 7 which is the minimum specification required and although they have the Fitbit app, they do not provide for the Aria Air.
I was able to set up the scale and link it to her account via my own Android phone. However, when following the same method for attempting to sync to her Windows 10 PC (ie open the Fitbit app on the Today tab before using the scales) there is no apparent communication with the scales - in particular the Bluetooth icon on the scales does not illuminate indicating communication. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and the scales do work via my phone, but she needs a way of working the scales without me present.
Is the problem that the scale is just not capable of communicating with her PC? Or is there something I'm missing?

The scale will only sync with a phone or tablet. It will not sync with a PC running the Windows 10 app. I don't think any new Fitbit products work with that old app.

How do I get the Aria Air Scale to sync with the Fitbit app? It records my weight etc, but it’s not updating the date. So confusing.....☹️

Yes, the ARIA AIR is junk since it will not sync with my laptop. Although it shows my weight on my cell, I do not use my cell as often as I used my laptop. Additionally, it does not plug in the weight into the Fitbit app on my phone for some reason...so it will not track. Pure JUNK. You think that once it records it on the phone, that that would transfer the information to all devices...but it does not. It is going back. DO NOT BUY from FITBIT.
