Changing batteries on Aria is a difficult task

I love my Aria, don't get me wrong. But WHY should changing batteries be such a complete pain in the a**? What should be a simple user task requires the whole charade of trying to reconnect to the network, which usually means going to the website on another device to figure out how to do it, it usually takes me about 15 minutes all up. Changing the actual batteries takes 10 seconds. It's not trivial. It is a very poor user experience that surely must have a simpler solution.

I dread seeing my battery low because EVERY time it means I have to become anI T expert and try some combination of button pushing, app installs, and virgin sacrifices and if it happens to be the second phase of a pink moon and I have eaten asparagus in the last 6-1/2 hours it works.

post, and still don't have a problem.

Great post. I have changed the batteries many many times since this VERY
old post. Perhaps I eat a lot of asparagus, but definitely NOT an IT
expert. Thanks for that post.
