We move house (and put weight on it seems). Now our Aria thinks my wife is me, and I am “guest”.
Looking at recent weigh ins on the app, I can reassign my wife’s weights to her, but otherwise it only shows MY recognised weigh ins. There are no “guest” weights for me to reassign
I seem to remember, a while back, FirBit changed so you can only see your OWN weigh ins. So how do I get my weighings corrected?
Thanks

There is a huge locked thread where people are complaining and Fitbit has refused to fix it.

I’m not sure I didn’t just almost-accidentally fix it
Figuring that Aria works out who I am by knowing my previous weight (which is lesss than current by a bit), I added three MANUAL weigh ins that were close to my current weight. Now Aria either knows it’s me, or thinks I’m my wife (which I can tap-toggle)
Whatever the reason, I’m now sorted
Dont know if this will help anyone else though…..

I was involved in the various older discussions, that Fitbit have locked, and I had a workaround (posted there), but since then it has stopped working.
But I may have found a new workaround.
- Ensure you have two people registered to the scale, and that they are both available, and they both have the phone app installed.
- Let's say person A list lighter than person B. Ensure that both A and B have their current weight in their respective apps somewhat correct.
- One by one, stand on the scale. If the scale is guessing the wrong person and you have the option to fix it by tapping do so. If it guesses "Guest": too bad, measurement lost. If it guessed the wrong person you'll fix that later.
- After doing this dance a couple of times various of the measurements will have been recorded, and each person can inspect the measurements assigned to them in the app. (hidden under the device, as "recent weigh-ins"). I don't think this can be done on the website.
- Each person now assigns the incorrect measurements to the correct person.
You may want to repeat this whole procedure again tomorrow.

Interesting, thanks
I'm going to check in a day or two to see if Aria still at least recognises me as someone in the household (two of us)

Not going to happen. Keep attracting new customers. Make it virtually impossible to complain. And ignore existing customers. That seems to be their business model.
After all, that’s why we’re all here. Our only channel to raise complaints
