I recommend you do NOT buy fitbit devices unless fitbit software bugs noted below are fixed
For a longer period of time I was able to seamlessly sync my fitbit watch and Aria scales to the fitbit app to record stats.
Then from October 2022 scales no longer sync. I suspect the problem is due to app. Why ? Because we have three Aria scales in two different locations and sync problem now occurs with all the devices. ( Hence not a hardware or Wi-Fi issue). I have followed various suggested resync approaches as recommended on YouTube. None work. No on line support/ helpline offered by fitbit.
Given many other people have encountered the equivalent problem I do not understand why fitbit have not fix what I suspect to be a software bug
Also from October I am no longer able to seamlessly connect my fitbit watch to the fitbit app. Each time I want to sync I have to go into my Bluetooth settings and get it to forget the “ charge 4 “ watch device. Then I have to re pair my phone with the watch
i will be replacing my fitbit with apple produts unless software bugs fixed soon.

I'm having the same exact problem. However not as many devices. One account with one fitbit aria air. Constantly have to remove the device and add it back to get a reading

Still having problems with the scale syncing with the app. Can we please get an update on when the patch is going to be released?

I just got the scale and tried to sync it, with no luck. I have the app installed, Bluetooth shows paired, but when I try to connect it says app is required.
I was going to get the sense 2 watch but going to hold off on that purchase.

Yes. App is open. App says Aria is trying to sync.

still having issues syncing the hardware with the software. Nothing works unless you unpair and repair.......then it's good for 1 day and looses it's connection.
Can we get an update from Fitbit on when we can expect an ETA for the patch?

Maybe if enough people return the scales Fitbit will do something about the issue.

today 1/22 the scale and the app are still not syncing....
Is the Fitbit team even looking at this chat? can we please have an update or something from a Fitbit employee that is telling us Fitbit is working on this? is there an open ticket for this?

So, let me get this straight. I bought a Pixel watch, a Fitbit Airia Air. All updated to the latest. And everytime I weigh myself I have to first Force stop my Fitbit App, then restart it, open the app, go to weight, go to log weight and then step on scale, cross my fingers, throw salt over my shoulder, cut off a rabbits foot do something with a horseshoe, pray and MAYBE my weight will show up in the app.
No prob, but the pet shop is gonna get suspicious if I buy a new rabbit every 4 days.

today 1/29 the scale and the app STILL don't sync correctly
haven't heard anything from the Fitbit Team either.
i'll just keep posting until it starts to work or Fitbit reaches out to me..............

there was an upate to the Fitbit app. The update included patches for the weight chart app.
At the moment I can currently say that the app and scale are communicating with each other 😁
I'll keep updating as time goes on

today 2/1 the app and the scale did not sync, even after the patch.
doesn't look like anything has changed and there are still problems with the app.
very disappointing to say the least...

Same here. Past week it actually worked every time. I thought maybe the patch fixed it. Today it didn't work.
