Hello! I'm getting an Err message when attempting to weigh myself and I've tried a few troubleshooting steps from other posts but not able to fix this
Troubleshooting:
+ Clean scale foot pads to ensure it sits evenly on floor
+ Remove batteries
+ Weigh myself 5 times in a row to try and recalibrate it
My scale is not connected to Wi-Fi nor do I want it to be connected. It weighed fine for a long time and now giving this error.
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

@MoreBitThanFit That model is the original Aria. Here is a link to Fitbit's Help article. I expanded the Aria error codes and troubleshooting steps for you. Removing the batteries for 10 seconds is the recommendation.
I don't have any experience with that model. Based on years of user posts, if battery removal doesn't fix this error, then your scale is broken.

@MoreBitThanFit What model scale do you use? Error messages and troubleshooting steps vary by model. What is the exact error message?

Model: FB201B
Error message: "Err"
When activating the scale (tap to start) >> it will say step on >> once I step on, it will say "thinking" and then instead of saying step off like normal, it just says "Err".
When I did the weigh 5 x to recalibrate it gave the same error each time. Maybe I need to recalibrate differently? Not sure if I should wait for the error message or get off when it says thinking.
