Fat Percentage is important. What's the plan ?

My Aria 2 is 3 years old and will die one day. What's the plan regarding Smart Scales that provide fat % ? It's a super important factor for a guy likes me who trains in the gym and whose major focus is changing body composition.

I have all my info on my weight in Fitbit since 2014 and I would want to buy a product from fitbit that allows me to know where I am.

What's the plan Fitbit ???

I have no insight into Fitbit's future plans, and I doubt anyone from Fitbit would tell their plans here, but they do seem to be phasing out scales.  But I believe there are several other makes of smart scales measuring body fat that will sync with Fitbit.  Not a recommendation, but I think I have seen Withings mentioned for this.  If you look for smart scales on Amazon, there seem to be many reasonably priced options, at least some of which claim to sync with Fitbit.

Just a guess with nothing to back it up: maybe Fitbit has decided their core business is the trackers, and other companies can do a better job with scales, and still link them to Fitbit.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
