I am getting the “Sensing, thinking, ERR” problem and found fractured plastic in two of the four sensor “feet.”.  See picture.   Will try and bond the plastic next!  Stay tuned.,,

Sorry to say that glueing this broken piece of plastic in the sensor did not resolve the “Sensing, Step Off, Thinking, ERR” problem!

I've had this piece printed on a 3D printer and it works great now. You can get the program/specs from Thingiverse web page. There's a link elsewhere on these boards. If you don't know anyone with a 3D printer, contact local libraries and schools who might be willing to print for public & you can email the program to them. I had both front feet sensors printed for pennies & haven't had any problems since.
