How long should an Aria scale last?

I got my scale for xmas in 2015. It stopped working properly in March this year (after 3.25 years it is always staying on); i've tried a few things from the forums and a few worked temporarily (keeping it on a towel when not in use), but it just drains batteries now. Can it be fixed or do i need a new one? Thots? Thanks!

I see no one has answered your message... I just came on here to ask the same question!  Mine has been going since about the same time as yours.  While we were traveling this month, it simply died.  I put new batteries in today, and nothing.  Maybe we are expecting too much to ask them to live forever?  😉
