How to: remove Aria from my account?

It seems the last post on this was from 2014, and the app is now completely different - so none of the previous answers are true anymore!

Can somebody talk me through how to remove Aria from my fitbit? I need to do this so I can try setting it up again to get it working on my wifi...

Took a while (I'm not very high-tech) but the solution finally worked. Like everything else about Fitbit products, settings, et al., it doesn't seem very intuitive and it's somewhat fiddly. But yes, the solution worked.

@KaseyCoff It's great to hear that the steps provided before were helpful and got your Aria scale removed from your Dashboard. I appreciate your feedback that the process is not intuitive.

we have an Aria, which used to function ok, but stopped (hi:)/sensing/step off/ thinking/ err)

i have spent hours on getting it to work  - and have tried EVERYTHING recommended, and simply don't want to spend more time on it.

however i would want this rather expensive piece of hardware to at least be able to function as a regular scale where we can see our weights.

so - i have again spent a lot of time on it and tried all instructions out - but: hi:)/sensing/step off/ thinking/ err

is there a quickfix? it is only for environmental reasons that i have not yet thrown it out - but at the moment it seems the only solution.

i am happy to give up all smart features - but really want a scale that can tell my weight.

sorry if i sound a bit angry - i am just so frustrated.

I have been going through the same issues as previous posters, and have also deleted the Aria. It can still be used as a pair of scales and the readings entered in the Dashboard manually, but what a waste of money when a far cheaper pair of non-wifi scales would do the same thing.

I like my Fitbit One, but these scales are just a load of stress Cat Sad

thanks very much for your comment.
however, my problem seems to be that even after uninstalling the scale, it still does not show any measurements on the scale it self, meaning that it can't be used for anything at all.
if anybody has a solution, i would be happy to learn about it.

best regards birgitte

Mine has no list of users, this is soooo frustrating and a compete waste of money.

I tried this and under the people tab it did not show anyone. I threw my Aria away when it stopped working and no one could help.  But it is still on my account and can't get it off.  See no "remove this device" or place to delete to a trashcan.  How do I get it off my account?

Hi everyone! Please take a look at Mystiq_Goalie's post. He shared a great way to remove the Aria scale form the Dashboard. Rest assured that this needs to be done through the web-based Dashboard, not through the Fitbit app.

I have tried multiple times to change the network address in order to have the Aria recognize the new network name/IP address.  All to no avail.  I don't see how removing a user from the account would allow the network IP address to be changed.  Help, this is very frustrating to change.

@rgrimes84 Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is not recognizing your new network name/IP address. I would like to know a few details that will help me to determine the cause of the issue and provide the correct solution: What is the make and model of your router? Is your router running the protocol 802.11b and the bandwidth is 2.4GHz? This information can be double checked with your Internet service provider.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

@Jillsuzbrown5 Thank you for joining us in this thread! Regarding your inquiry, the "People" tab is right next to "Measurements". You need to click on the tab so you can see your initials. Once you see your initials, you will find a trash can icon at the right of users' initials.

I marked the tab in red so.

Please let me know if you are able to remove the scale! Smiley Happy

@Dunne Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I would like to know if you are trying the steps listed above through the web-based Dashboard, since the app doesn't have the option to delete the Aria.
