How to: remove Aria from my account?

It seems the last post on this was from 2014, and the app is now completely different - so none of the previous answers are true anymore!

Can somebody talk me through how to remove Aria from my fitbit? I need to do this so I can try setting it up again to get it working on my wifi...

Is there any way to use aria simply as a scale without the Fitbit connectivity. I cannot get my aria to connect after forms of factory resets, multiple accounts, etc. And it just keeps ERR when trying to connect to my network. I give up.

If it’s an older scale just toss it out. It won’t connect. Boat anchor, flotation device are acceptable adaptive reuse for it.

I've been trying to set up my old Aria to my new home's network and it refuses to connect. The phone help line associate literally started to yell at me because she couldn't do it either. She said she had the correct instructions and I wasn't following them. She must have been reading them off the website, the same ones that we have access too. After 7 months of research and going back and forth I discovered that the old Aria is unable to change networks. Expensive trash.

In your router settings, if its a dual band router you should be able to run TWO Wi-Fi networks at the same time. 1 at AC speed (5GHz) and one Wireless "g" speed (2.4GHz). Most modern routers do this.

Heads up will not work on Ipad or Iphone, do not allow trash icon. Had to use computer. Otherwise thanks so much I have wasted hours and hours on this😡

This does not work.  My aria scale stopped working and I can't get it removed there are no names on that dash.  Please advise.

I am about to delete my account and throw out the scale and my fitbits. Hello Apple.

Fitbit (Google) has basically made it impossible to delete anything from your account. Devices, people, etc. has someone who works on UX and user interfaces for a living, this scale and the app are among the worst. No, THE WORST. 

I believe it is all intentional to prevent the user from having ultimate control. 

Unbelievable. I feel your pain and they DO NOT CARE.

What does the people tab look like? I’ve clicked on the gear and brought up the Aria but I don’t know where to go from here.

I am not seeing people tab for my aria.  I want to remove this and use it as a regular scale.  I'm so frustrated with this product.

Wow, that is way more dificult than it should be. I thought that with google behind Fitbit, it would be a good experience, boy was I wrong
