I just bought an Aria 2 to replace the Aria Original. I have noticed over the last 2 weeks that the BF% for the Aria 2 is like 6% higher.
I know that in general the bioelectric impedance test is not accurate, but it was still a good way for me to track the up/down. I am just curious if anyone else had the same problem.
I am 6'2" 270lb man. I did a precise hydrostatic body fat test and found that my BF% was 23%. This is my benchmark and a value that i have confidence is accurate. The original Aria measured me at around 31% and now the Aria 2 has me around 37%.
Thoughts?

@map246 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is not providing accurate body fat percentage readings.
I'd like you to try some troubleshooting steps in order to fix this issue: Please restart and re-calibrate your Aria 2 by taking out the batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in. Once this has been done, weigh yourself 5 times in a row and see if the readings are more accurate. Finally, make sure that your scale is placed on a hard surface and you are standing on it still and barefoot.
Keep me posted on the outcome!
