Is the basic Aria safe to use while pregnant?

Hi, I have both scales. I know version 2 is not safe to use whilst pregnant but is version 1? Thanks.

@Sarah_in_london   Neither the Aria nor the Aria 2 is safe to use while pregnant.  They both use the same technology to estimate body fat.

Both scales send a very small current through the body. 

Is this really unsafe for the fetus?

@Rich_Laue   Fitbit has a warning, the exclamation point in a triangle, saying do not use if pregnant.  Apparently, a Withings scale can be put in a pregnancy mode that turns off the body fat measurement.

Until a manufacturer is ready to put a statement on the device that it is safe, then I recommend against it.
