I have had my Aria for about six weeks now, and have noticed in the last couple of weeks that "Manual Weight" entries are appearing, when I haven't entered them?

@Kmclean520 I appreciate your reply and the information. While investigating a bit more, I noticed that this issue has been reported to our developers and they are currently working on a fix. If you wish, you can go ahead and delete those weight readings by clicking on the X located on the right side of the measurement log.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Any other questions, let me know. Robot Happy

Welcome aboard @Kmclean520! This is definitely unusual. Are you the only one that has access to your Fitbit account? Do you have a second user on your Aria? Are you getting "Guest" readings on your account?

I look forward to your reply. Robot Happy

Hi, Melissa- thanks for your response.  I am the only one with access to my Fitbit account.  My husband and two sons use the scale, but are all "guests" and appear as such.  The manual weights are appearing only on my dashboard- not on the list of recent weigh-ins on my Aria account.  I do have a MyFitnessPal account, and have checked it to see if I had entered any weights on that app that may have transferred over, and I had not.  (There is about a 3 pound difference between the manual weights that show up vs. the weight I see on my Aria when I weigh-in, so I didn't think this would be the case, but checked anyway.)  Not sure what else might be causing this?  Thanks for your help-

Has there been a fix developed as this is still an issue
Best Answer

Hi, can we please have an update on this issue? It's still occurring for me, and frustratingly the 'manual' weights sometimes appear more accurate than the official weights on the scale.

Best Answer
No- I am not using the food plan feature on my dashboard.

This topic has been marked as 'solved', but I see no other solution other than deleting those weight inputs on the app. I've been experiencing this problem today with random manually input weight being added into my app, but despite deleting them by pressing "x", they manual input weights return in a couple of hours. Is there a fix for this?

Hey guys @ghostx @Jdselv @greenteas, it's nice to see you here! As my friend @Mcore has said here, this is an issue that was already reported and our team is working on it. I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support directly so they can keep record of how many users are experiencing this again.

Have a great day y'll!

Hi there @Jdselv and welcome to the Forums @DocchaOur team is aware of this problem and working to resolve the issue.  In the meantime, I recommend deleting those extra logs from your Dashboard.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding.

I, too, have this issue.  Here's what I sent to Customer Support:

There are manual weight entries for the last 6 days showing up in my mobile app and the online weight log, interspersed with my actual synced entries.  Even if I delete them, they reappear within hours.  It is always for the current date + 5 previous days, and they will continue to show up several days in a row before finally stopping.  I notice it happens after my usual sync doesn't go smoothly (delayed reporting to app/dashboard).  The next day, the scale will tell me to step off, then does its "thinking" before giving the green check for a successful sync.  Almost invariably, this is when the ghost manual readings start showing up.

I am also having this issue, and I do not use the Aria scale.  I do manually enter my weigh-ins every Friday, but I am getting "ghost" entries as well, usually days after... and they are coming in at lesser weights than I entered manually on Friday.  I delete the "ghost entries", but they keep "coming back."  It's frustrating.

Hey everyone -- If you're still getting weight measurements in your weight log in the online Dashboard that you haven't input yourself either manually or with an Aria scale, please take a screenshot of the measurements so I can look further into your specific instance. I look forward to getting your screenshots, thanks in advance.

This keeps happening to me as well.  I get ghost manual entries (usually a previous weigh-in, even from a different day, -0.1 pounds).  I also get real weigh-ins that I have deleted come back.  Usually a second attempt at deleting works, but not always.  To me it looks like a synchronization error on one hand, and conversation error (somehow related to their conversion between kg a lb in the back end) on the other hand.  When I can't delete an entry I try the following on my iPhone a few times until the deletion sticks:

1. if it's a manual entry, overwrite it with another manual entry

2. sync, close and restart the app

3. delete the new manual entry

4. sync, close and restart the app

Hope that works for at least some of you.

I also have this issue and deleting them doesn't work.  The deleted weights keep coming back and I have tried deleting the same ones over 10 times now.  This is becoming very annoying.
