Moved Fitbit app to Google and now Aria 2 won’t work

Both my husband and I moved our Fitbit apps to Google and neither one of us can get the scale to sync with the app. It weighs us and then shuts off. Way to go Google. This seems like it would be an easy fix to keep your community happy so why not just do it?
