My Aria 2 doesn't want to connect with my WiFi

I have got my Aria 2 a week ago and still try to make it work. I did everything I could but it doesn't connect to my WiFi. My WiFi name appears, I click it, put the password in and then sad face appears on my Aria and "No WiFi" message.

I reset WiFi router, I restarted my phone many times, I got off Aria 2 from my Fitbit app and setup it up again. I reset the Aria 2. I have read many articles in the internet and watched youtube videos and tried some things but nothing helps! Just can't connect with my WiFi.

I'm 5 feet from the router. I have separate line for 5g WiFi, and I'm at home not in a public place.

Please help me figure out what is going on.

@iwonawisniewska welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Aria 2 since it's not connecting to your WiFi network. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please make sure that you are following the setup process as described in this help article. IF you already tried these steps, make sure that your router runs the protocol 802.11b and your WiFi password doesn't exceed 32 characters.

Let me know if the issue persists! Smiley Happy

My password is less than 32 characters but I don’t know where to check my router protocol. But it is a regular router. Nothing different than in other houses.

@iwonawisniewska thank you for getting back! Regarding your question, you can contact your Internet service provider so they can tell you what is the protocol that your router is currently using. They can also guide you how to change it to the protocol 802.11b.

I appreciate your time with this. Let me know if you have additional questions! Smiley Happy

I have that problem too, mine Aria 2 worked for 1 12 months, now theyre telling me its a problem with my wifi provider.  If youve had it only a few days and have the receipt, return it for a refund.   I would except I tossed the box so now Im left with a $150 paperweight.  Good luck
