My Aria is working good but it wanted new batteries so I changed them well what a todo.

it will not work now so I reset the unit with a toothpick into the little hole in the back.

I went through the setup active etc got it into my wi fi ok it then said step on which I did then step off so I did and then thinking then ERR so for the last hour I stepped on stepped off ERR over and over I’ve had enough, I can see other people have had the same problem and I can also see that there was no back up from Fitbit

I think that that’s enough said about the company let’s make sales and we won’t give any back up. Every 2 to 3 years my Fitbit plays up so you need to buy another one and now this enough is enough if you want to still buy this rubbish that’s up to you Fitbit is only laughing at you $$$$$$$. In their pockets

for me I’m off to buy a good product now ... no not Fitbit

Hello Ricjc,

I read several threads about the Aria suddenly starting the Step off...Step off...Step off...ERR message.  Reset did not work, stepping on it five times did not work, etc.  I finally read about someone who found some broken plastic bits inside, that caused the multiple sensors to cause the software to be confused, ending in ERR.  So I opened up our Aria, and in looking for any broken plastic bits I found none!  But in examining the four sensors, I discovered that the white platic assembly had come loose from the black plastic clip that would usually hold the white plastic assembly in place; instead it 'floated'...evidently causing the ERR.  I pushed it back in place, put batteries in to dry run a test without the case, and IT WORKED again.  So I put the bottom cover back in place, and our Aria is once again working!
