I just switched ISPs and my Aria scale would not connect. The new router does not support 802.11b (Rogers Ignite). Here's my workaround. I had an older DLink Extender which is 802.11b compatible. I reset the extender and configured it for the new network. I then connected my laptop to the extender and proceeded with the Aria setup.
I was able to see the Aria scale in my device settings (I could before the extender) but I was successfully able to join the Aria scale to my extended network. It was a lot of fussing around and I was fortunate that I have a box of networking gear to get this to work.
I hope this helps someone and you don't spend the hour trying to figure it out.
