No data under recent weigh-ins

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Ever since the new app, there is no data being recorded in the recent weigh-ins tab under your scale in the new app. This is a problem with the integration of the new app and Fitbit/ Google need to fix this as you cannot reassign weight to the correct person. If it is recorded as a guest which you used to be able to do perfectly fine under the recent weigh-ins tab.

FitBit support knows about the error, but will not do anything to fix this at this moment.

To **ahem** up working produkts and explain the sabotage by “… no longer supported” is not environmentally sustainable.

I will buy new scale from a company that do care about the environment; and its customers. After Google bought Fitbit they have only sabotaged. Now they want me to transfer my Fitbit user to Google account… FORGET IT.

Same issue here. I also noticed when reinstalling  completely ( for the 10000 times )that the product support is discontinued and a warning that the product might not work as intended

looking like Google don’t care and will not fix. Also they are blocking posts from troublesome users when trying to reply to posts.

I've also opened a ticket with Fitbit support but they are going in circles and no response regarding engineering updates.

I agree. I have exactly the same problem. I have removed the scale and reconnected it, but even after reconnection there is no weight update on my FITBIT desktop screen. I’m going to put the scales in the dustbin, where they belong, and start to use a much more reliable and analytical system provided by TANITA. Poor show FITBIT, poor show GOOGLE.

I have been a FITBIT supporter since 2015, but I am gradually loosing my enthusiasm as I watch other competitors provide a superior offering which provides users with more reliable and regular information.

Yes,

I am sad to say that I also are loosing interest for FitBit. Google know about the issue, but don’t bother to fix it. I have developed apps myselves, and I know excactly what to do to fix the problem.

My conclusion is that Google menns that Aria scale have reached the end of support life. Basically Google, the «environment friendly» company doing everything in their Power to sove the world, tell me to throw away my scale and buy a New one. But not until I have “upgraded “ my Fitbit user to my Google account. Why? I will not accuse Google, but it is just the way to steel 10 years of personal data. I accepted the new and updated terms and conditions, but I did not expect Google to cut me off access to my own data!!!!

Why not share and keep the users as customers?

Everyone knows it is easier to keep an existing customer. Getting new customers is much harder!!!!

But Google is big (for now) and think they can get away with ripping off customers. I am considering what is the best alternative for me. I will buy a new scale and clock. The only thing certain is: IT WILL NOT BE FITBIT OR GOOGLE PRODUCTS

Best regards to all of you struggling with the missing weight ins,

Sven

Unfortunately it's the same with more and more of their products (I'm referring to Google). They have become famous for adapting and extinguishing practically all new projects that fall under their umbrella. If they're really going to make me throw away my scale just because they think they can, I'm afraid I'll give them a big red cross and not return to the ecosystem. Whatever they do.
