I was sure I followed the directions. I turned the scale over. I opened the battery compartment. I took one battery out. I waited ten seconds. I put the battery back in. I closed (put the cover back on) the battery compartment. I flipped the scale over. But no setup message appeared on the display.

If there is anyone out there who can help me, please help.
