I purchased the scale as well, have followed all instructions on the FAQ as well as this thread and the data from the scale is not being pushed to my device while the Fitbit app is open.

Your troubleshooting suggestions do not work. They have not fixed the issue.
I am so disappointed with the new scales. If the issue isn’t sorted soon I will be returning the scales for a refund!

Having all the same problems, none of the posted fixes work. Very disappointed.

I find it concerning that part of the advice is to remove all other contacts for the scales. Then how does each scale have more than one person attached.
I'll give it another week but if nothing from Fitbit by Sat 09 November I'll be sending them back as not fit for purpose.

Fitbit told me my phone is not 100% compatible
Clearly they released a faulty product and are standing behind the ideology that their customers are using incompatible phones.
I posted on another thread saying the same thing. Even had people with verified phones say they cant sync.

The website says:
Aria Air Data Transfer
- Aria Air syncs with your mobile device via Bluetooth 4.0
- To set up for the first time, you’ll need one of the following: iPhone 4S or later, iPad 3 gen. or later, or leading Android or Windows devices
I have a Samsung S10, is that not a "leading Android" device?

Right, my Note 10+ must not have the up to date software it needs to Bluetooth connect. Sigh, here is your technical support: return the $200 watch and this garbage scale and research a brand with operational products and helpful tech support.

S10 is on the list but I'm honestly not surprised yours cant sync, I know people with iPhones who cannot connect.
I doubt fitbit would even honor refunding me for my versa. Thank goodness I got my aria air on Amazon, I bet Fitbit would do what they can to profit off their mistakes.

I went through the whole setup several times (including the process of removing scale by resetting with black button on scale). The rep I was chatting with said that they new this was an issue. So, my brand new scale doesn't work. I said, how long should I wait before returning? He said return within 45 days, but THEY WOULD NOT PAY SHIPPING COSTS. I am so disturbed. He was trying, said that this known issue was being worked on, not a defective product. Why are they sending out a product that doesn't work? I sure hope that they get the soft/firmware issue fixed soon so I don't have to return and pay shipping costs.

Luckily I just slapped down $250ish at Best Buy for these and I should be able to bring them back, upon further playing with the watch it didn't charge at all, though it was on the charger all night. I've set up watches and a bunch of bluetooth items for family, so I was convinced this wasn't me, thanks to this thread I am convinced there is simply no quality to back the price of Fitbit's products. Additionally, I have never heard of a company not paying shipping on a defective item, which they admitted was defective. I'm sorry. Good news is I did some cursory google searching and found an option with super positive reviews and I am willing to bet full functionality.

Like everyone else on this string, I have made several attempts to have my Aria Air sync with my Samsung Galaxy S9+. I am the only user. My bluetooth is on. The Aria Air is visible as a device on my bluetooth list of devices. I've restarted devices, removed and re-added devices, and nothing I do will sync the scale to my Fitbit app. My app is clearly open to today's menu. Basically I have a $50 scale.

50$ scale that has lights for wifi and BMI,but the fitbit reps say that has nothing to do with the scale.
so fitbit just added a bunch of lights and buttons for aesthetics and slapped a 50$ price tag on it so us plebs who didnt want to drop over 100 on the aria would get duped

Same issue on 2 different iOS phones - nothing happens not even after clearing the scale. Could some please notify my when it is working then I will stop wasting more time on this crap. My impression of Fitbit is NOT impressive

Congrats to everyone here who, like me, just paid $60 to beta test Google's latest weight data-mining device! 🤣 I can't believe I purchased this product after being punished by the original Aria which lasted less than two years barely being used before the screen gave out and eventually stopped working completely. The decision to purchase the Air was based on my wife still deep in the Fitbit ecosystem, while I have moved to a different watch brand.
I just got off a lengthy support chat and was told this is a known issue and *if* it is solved, they will push an update. Screw that, I'll wait a couple days but the scale is going straight back before I lose Amazon's return policy.
FYI if it's useful - I have the latest Fitbit app on iOS (3.9.1.894) and an iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13.2. We went through all the standard troubleshooting - reset the scale, remove/re-add the scale, restart the phone, reinstall the fitbit app, blah blah, have you turned it off and on again-type stuff.

Okay, it is nice to know I am not crazy. Just received my Aria Air 10/31 and it doesn't sync after several failed attempts to troubleshoot. I own the iPhone 10r latest ios and to no avail. I have to manually enter information. If this is not cleared up in 1 week then I will be returning.

Yeah I’m not waiting for an update that should’ve happened years ago when this was released lol. Already boxed mine back up to return.
