Hi, I have the latest iPhone, no do not disturb,

latest version of the app and I can’t get my scales to sync. I can see they are connected to the app and the app tells me to step in them to sync but nothing happens

Hello,

Tried all steps in this thread and even updated the scale using the Aria update app. Still will not sync.

I just got my Aria Air scale, and I am experiencing the same problem as anyone else. It does not work!

When can we expect this matter to be fixed?

I've tried all the trouble shooting and it still does not work. This is very disappointing!

Same experience here with this product

Did everything you suggested, including hard reset and still not syncing.

This is a widespread issue, read the reviews on Amazon.  It doesn’t show upon the phone only in the app and will not sync.

I wish I came here sooner, I have just wasted the day trying to get this working, updating everything possible to no avail.....FitBit you should expect this rather large door stop back with you, for a full refund on Tuesday...

I should have known better but thought they would correct it quickly.

I‘m very disappointed to so many people having the same problem.

I received my aria today and have the same issue. But while searching a solution, I just found this thread.

@Fitbit: you should solve the problem as soon as possible. This issue let you lose your users.

I’ll return the aria to the store next week, by a cheaper one and add the weight manually!

I returned mine today. Good luck everyone else.

I called and they sent the scale BUT the software is not yet developed for our de ice. We have a samsung note 8. Why sell the product before they are ready and no notice when trying to sync. Frustrating for the owner. How ridiculous.

I have done everything many times. Frustrated and ridiculous.  Called in and was told the software is not ready yet. Mynfitbit iconic syncs just fine. Why send out the scale without the software?  Bet many people return the scale. What good is itmwithout the software. Doesn't even weigh correctly. I am about 21 lbs more . Guess that will be corrected later. If I don't hear anything this weekmit is going back.

Even better there is an error posting this. Says check the highlighted errors and correct. Nothing highlighted. Maybe ship back the scale now.

I had the old Aria scale too and when I upgraded our modem, I couldn’t get it to sync. I spent countless hours trying to get it to work. The new modem didn’t have some outdated frequency that the Aria needed. So frustrating!  I loved that scale and used it daily for at least 2 years. I was so excited to see this new Bluetooth version!  I got mine yesterday and of course it won’t sync.  Beyond frustrating!

Just to express my disappointment too. I have also tried all the above to no avail. FitBit, please escalate our concerns as a matter of urgency.

I also updated the scale through the update act, no change at all - still does not sync.

I have been a Fitbit user since 2008.

I have the original Aria.  Had to get a new router.  Cannot connect to router via wifi 😞

Aria Air - a Bluetooth product - was recently released.  I thought perhaps a Bluetooth product would be easier to pair.  My story is the same as everyone else's....I have been messing with this situation for several days. No one else has claimed 'success'. To preserve my sanity,  I will be returning Aria Air today.  Fortunately I purchased it from Target so it will be an easy return.

Not working for me either, just tried to set it up but it doesn't sync. What's annoying is not that it doesn't work - what's annoying is that it doesn't seem to work for anyone, yet Fitbit aren't saying anything about it! If they said "we know there are problems, we're working on it and hope to put out a software update soon" I'd probably hold onto it and wait it out. But with the lack of information, I think I'll just have to return it for a refund.

I spoke with Fitbit yesterday and was told it's a known, widespread issue and they are working on it. The concerning thing was they wrote "*IF* there is a fix, we will notify you". I'm not sure if this was lost in translation, but to me this says they are concerned there may not be a fix and I will be returning it. If there is a hardware issue here, I don't have the interest in waiting around to find out IF they will fix it.

Best Answer

I've given this issue some thought.  My Aria Air cannot connect to the internet since it doesn't have Wi-fi.  Since my Aria Air cannot sync with the Fitbit app, how is it even possible for Fitbit to push out a fix or an update if my device will not communicate?   I don't think it is possible so I am returning mine ASAP.

Best Answer

Also returning mine tomorrow, lack of response by Fitbit is enough to make me realize that there is no fix.  There are much cheaper Bluetooth scales available.

Also be aware, all iOS users, that the app version 3.9.1 has been released. Please keep your devices and app up to date.

If you already tried the presented steps and still are unable to sync your scale, please be patient! Our Team is aware that the solution given hasn't helped everyone and they are already working on a solution for all other users. I've not received any information, how long it will take, but as soon as I receive more information regarding this, I'll be more than glad to share it with you on this thread.
