Hello Aria Air customers - we are aware of an issue that is currently preventing your Aria Air from syncing properly. If you set up Aria Air after 10/28, you will not be able to sync until this issue is resolved.

Obviously, this wasn't going to work (most people have automatic app updating turned on, so if a new version is released it will update right away), but just for thoroughness I checked my app version. It is V3.9.1 and the scale still does not work.

Wow.
I came to get my problem fixed, find that everyone else is having the same problem and a moderator blaming the users.
The scale doesn't work. It's a piece of crap.
Seems everyone here and I just got swindled.
Live and learn... maybe Google will have better luck with Fitbit

Hi Juan, my Samsung did actually get one step further with the binding and the app accepted it but unfortunately still not syncing after all the resets known to man! Mind you, I do commend Fitbit on their tack ticks as I must of lost nearly a kilo stepping on n off this expensive piece of glass 😉
Steve.

How’d it go? It didn’t! I don’t understand how you don’t have a fix for this. Did anyone even try this thing out before you started to sell it? You have a LOT of unhappy people who will be spreading the word that the Aria Air doesn’t work and you are trying to fake your way through “fixing” the problem!

Really disappointed with the brand.
I was following at least twice per week for the release date since it was announced.
Today I finally got it just to realize the company released an unfinished product.
I just wasted 2 hours of my day trying to get it sync and 1 more hour reading all the posts in this thread just to confirm that Fitbit didn't care to let their users down.
If by tomorrow there isn't a real fix to the problem, I'll return the scale.

Seriously @JuanFitbit ??? 3.9.1 on iOS is the same version I was using when troubleshooting with support last weekend. NOT a new version, NOT gonna help anyone!! I checked this morning just in case your version number was a typo, but no app updates.
EDIT: Here is the changelog. As you will see there is NO app update for iOS since Oct 30 (3.9.1 is a week old on iOS), however there was an update on Nov 4th for Android which does not mention a fix for Aria. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2025

Dear Juan,
Thank you for keeping us updated.
As everyone else (a lot of unhappy people!) I have the same problem.
Can we have a clear deadline for it to be properly fixed ?
I really want to make it work as a Fitbit lover !
Please be transparent and honest and let us know if it will be fixed or not and when.
Thank you.

Has anyone tried the reset button on the back of the scale? It's kind of tricky but you have to hold down the button for like 5 seconds and it will say "OTA", and then hold it down for another 5 seconds and it will say "RST". I had my setup progress get stuck and I finally tried the reset sequence and was able to start over and it worked.
Also I had to stand on the scale to keep the display lit up long enough for my phone to find it and complete the setup.
