Hi @JuanFitbit
Are you able to confirm the exact nature of the problem?

You can't ask questions like that - your post will get removed! Utterly ridiculous - off to close my account now. By the way, this post will disappear soon too. Good luck in getting an answer, let alone a straight one!

Our scales synced perfectly this morning!
Obviously great news after a lot of back and forth yesterday.
Having been asked to PM Fitbit via Messenger, with email details to facilitate further investigation, and the subsequent creation of a formal log of the problem - I look forward to the email explaining what went wrong. It would appear something at their end..... for it to miraculously correct itself?
Come on Fitbit - be transparent and honest. We all make mistakes and you'll feel better if you just come clean.

Totally catastrophic ....
Indeed today, I was able to connect the scale on the Wifi, with a lot of trouble (some browsers do not work ...)
But then during a weighing, the scale was displaying "Err" and worse now the display doesn't even light up anymore ...
Fitbit really mocks its customers.
Of course I'll buy a new scale, but not a Fitbit.
And you can count on me to advertise on social networks !

Hello, my scale is not connecting to the wifi network now, could it be because of the same problem?

I don’t understand why this is tagged as issue resolved. So many users are experiencing the very same issue.
My scale has the same No Sync issue. Same problem since 05.01.21. Hours of wasted troubleshooting and all suggestions tried. Please help! I need this for proof of weight for Zwift racing. I’ve placed my trust in Fitbit.

When issue first occurred yesterday, I took out batteries and tried to reset everything, no luck, just keeps being stuck on "setup active". Then I go to forums where it's obvious that many others had same problem. Then, today when many were saying synching is working for them, so I spent 2 hours trying to reconnect Aria to wifi both from phone and laptop, and it keeps ending in "WIFI ERR". I saw on another post this might have something to do with special characters in the wifi name, so I made sure I used one that was just letters & numbers, but it STILL keeps ending in "WIFI ERR" . Is the main issue resolved and my Aria should connect -- and there's a different problem I should troubleshoot? OR, is it still the same issue as last 2 days and I should just give up for now?

Mine works fine starting last night (1/7) and it syncs with the check mark message, no more "NO SYNC" message, so it's working fine now. Glad this is resolved. I agree Fitbit customer support has to improve their process. People calling in yesterday to report the issue and Fitbit call reps were completely unaware this was affecting hundreds of users (potentially millions). For some they immediately said the Aria is out of warranty and if it doesn't work you should buy a new scale. That wouldn't have made a difference with yesterday's issues. Some actually went through the typical sync trouble shooting tips, which is logical given how poorly designed the setup of the aria is and how finicky it is to connect with old 802.11b hardware.
In short, when there is an issue like yesterday that was from the sounds of it a global issue impacting all Aria scale users, and thousands of people were calling in about this issue, posting on Fitbit's Twitter and posting on community forum, there should have been some alert that let the reps know there is a trending issue and so they could tell people (we are aware of an apparently widespread issue and are researching it at the moment).
Unfortunately that is the reason why I've stopped even bothering to call Fitbit support on the phone, many times it's a complete waste of time. I get much better results working through the community forum here. I imagine others have reached the same conclusion. When people don't bother to call support when they have issues because support is no help then it's obvious Fitbit needs to improve their help desk model to give their reps the coaching and tools to be more effective and helpful.

Has not worked for three days.
Just finished "refreshing" Wi-Fi using the same Router I have used since switching ISP's. (Yeah it worked before until three days ago)
Get "HI - Step off - Thinking - ERROR"
Since Google bought FItbit the app on my phone and the scale has not worked well at all. What a CF.
