Hi everyone. 

 

We are aware that Aria users are encountering an issue when trying to sync. Our Team is investigating the situation and we hope to bring you all back on track very soon.

I have the same exact problem since yesterday. I have an Aria first generation. 
No Sync is displayed in screen

I tried contacting them as well as was told they would have to transfer me to an Aria specialist who would be reaching out via email.  No help or information at all.

Fitbit is now Google.

They don't care.

I gave up my Charge 2 when I got a Garmin smart watch for Xmas. 

Garmin Connect synchs with everything except my Aria - which won't even synch to itself.

Garmin Index scale synchs with My Fitness Pal .

Can't see myself ever buying another FitBit product.

Didn't think I'd have to replace the perfectly fine Aria for a corporate software glitch though.

I got the same response, despite my information that I have not changed my router or password. I made the mistake of trying to set up again. DON’T. I am now the proud owner of a paperweight shaped like a scale. Taking the batteries out doesn’t seem to help. I am stuck waiting for an email from the chat guy...

I have been a FitBit user since 2012, and an aria owner for a couple years. If they tell me to get a new scale, I will be purchasing some other brand tracker and scale. I am so angry right now. I wanted the last five hours, and I have gone from NO SYNC to setup mode active. Every time I attempt to set up, it ends up with...NO SYNC. Arrrrgh!!!!!

I see that I am not the only one, unfortunately I worked on it for 2 hours before (thankfully) seeing this post on the forum. If we can find thisd post why doesn't fitbit see it also? I gave up on their watch a year ago because of poor workmanship and support and bought a Garmin and never looked back. If they don't fix this then I'll buy a Garmin scale and be worry free.

Spent 45 minutes with support for the lady to say well cant help you someone will contact you. Hell of a way to try and get everyone to buy a new scale! If I have to it will not be a Fitbit!

I’m so relieved that I’m not going mad! It almost drove me to insanity!

Same here. All fine then no sync today for no reason and now lost wifi connection and have driven myself to the brink of insanity trying to setup from scratch.

I'm curious and wonder what scale are you thinking of getting if you
replace your Aria? I'm assuming Fitbit has done something to make it
obsolete since they have not replied to any of the threads or emails.

Same issue here. My Aria 1 has been working for years has suddenly stopped working with the "LINKING TO NO SYNC" issue after trying to reset it.

 

Nothing has changed at my end. I have tried just about everything everyone has recommended and nothing has worked. Keeping on eye on this thread to see

Same problem here too.. Solid syncing for 2 years.. Today nothing.

 

Network not changed, batteries new, everything else still connects fine. 

 

Please fix Fitbit

Mine is not syncing as of this morning at 4:00 am. It worked yesterday. I am glad I checked on here first, because I was going to try to mess with it. Thought it was on my end. Pretty upsetting. Hope it is resolved soon. Thanks

Did you ever get this issue solved?  I just received the scales for Christmas and I've only got it to sync twice after I reset it.  Next time I try it's not connected and won't sync.  So frustrating.  I'm very disappointed.

Thank you. That’s good to know your team is looking into it. 

During COVID-19 it’s been a goal of mine to eat better with more exercise. I still work from home and it’s been great monitoring my weight etc. 

 

I still have more weight to lose but during 2020 I lost 13 kilos.
