Fitbiot is not an environmental friendly Company. I have just been told by the contact centre that my fitbit aria has broken. This is a software fault and no damage has occurred to the hardware. I see from the community that I am not alone. The aria is outside its 2 year warranty, which is fine, but I am told it cannot be repaired, even at my expense. Putting aside the fact that all I was offered was the current website deal as a replacement, why on earth is fitbit's social responsibility so poor that all it offers is for me to throw away perfectly good hardware because its software has failed. Surely you can do more for the planet than ask me to throw away (recyle) the scales.
