Unable to re-connect Aria 2

The problem is that I bought an over priced Aria 2 scale based on the assurance that it would sync with my iPhone 8 Plus. I set up the scale and synced it with my phone. Then the next time I tried to use it, it did not recognize me as a registered user and it would not sync the reading with my phone. Based on the limited info on your website regarding troubleshooting, I removed the Aria 2 scale from the app. Afterwards, I was unable to reconnect the scale to the app. I tried removing the batteries, I tried pressing the reset button, I tried turning Bluetooth on and off on my iPhone, nothing would overcome the connection issue. Truthfully, since the only thing the scale will do for me is show me a weight, I am ready to return the Aria 2 and get a much cheaper scale that will do the same thing.

@KenCotton thank you for participating in the Fitbit forums. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. I'm also sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is not connecting to your phone and can't be re-set up. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps you mentioned before contacting our Community.

 

Please try resetting your router. After this, try the setup process as described in this help article. Make sure that your Aria 2 is within a range of 10 feet from the router during the setup process and see if it connects properly.

 

In case the Aria 2 doesn't recognize your user again, please follow the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help page and see if the issue gets fixed.

My Aria suddenly stopped working. Fitbit said it was a software problem.That was about 3 weeks ago. It still does not work. If I were you, I would return the scale and get a low cost scale and just put hand entries into your records. 

 

I really thought the software would be fixed by now. Very disappointed.
