Aria scale & iPhone... I've downloaded the most current FitBit app, updated my iphone app to 13.3, rebooted everything repeatedly and still my iphone bluetooth can't see the Aria. The Aria sync process has always been a pain in the rear and I've been a user since 2015, but this latest update is by far the worst. Any idea when it will be functioning properly again?

Is this the original Aria that was discontinued 3-4 years ago, or a newer model.

so we just throw away the older models?

No it doesn't need to be thrown away. I want to confirm the scale so that I will be able to help.
We have 3 models of Fitbit scales, each having their own way to set it up.
None of them require a user to go into the Bluetooth menu.
Also the Aria scale as the setup process in the Fitbit app explains, needs to setup through WiFi. Not Bluetooth since this scale does not have Bluetooth which will explain why @Kcowles can not see the scale through Bluetooth.

I have spent two hours trying to re-set this Aria up. Been though all the steps, watch 4 videos .. nothing has worked. I even tried to delete the device off my app/site and it won't even let me do that. Been a fitbit customer for years ... I'm about to trash it all.

That was my last try. Hours into trying to re-set up my Arai Scale and seeing so many others having the same issue I've decided that Fitbit is not interested in providing dependable devices. Apple here I come.

If the Aria scale is on your app, then it should not need to be setup.
But let's go through the steps.
First we need to know if your using the phone or the computer. Have you tried the app and the Aria web page?
If using the phone, where you able to get the scale into its setup mode and got the phones or computer WiFi connected to the scale?
Was the app able to connect to the Aria scale?
Then where you able to connect the scale to your homes wifi?
These instructions are for the original Aria Scale with an FCC ID XRAFB201A

I have tried both the iphone and laptop. I can not get it to connect to my new wifi ... want's to stay on old wifi. I can get the scale to the setup mode but that is as far as I get.

High-powered router with 1GHz dual core processor delivers fast Wi-Fi so you get less lag and buffering. Upstream and downstream quality of service (QoS) for a great gaming and video streaming experience. Boosts wireless, wired and WAN-to-LAN performance.

You have just answered why your question as to why the scale can not see your WiFi.
You will need to enable the 2.4 ghz WiFi or link your old router to your network for the scale to work.

I have the same problem in getting my Aria set up. I can't get it to change over from my old charter wifi to my new ATT

I'm using my iPhone but when I put the scale in setup mode next to the router it message on the scale keeps saying that it is connected to the old charter wifi. Nothing shows up on the phone or the laptop settings with Aria before the ATT wifi

@moTMan the Aria only has WiFi to communicate through. Don't. Blame fitbit if your routers firmware was out of date.
@DoubleTapJack open the Fitbit app on the phone. Tap Add device and choose the Aria scale. Follow the directions.
You need to pull the battery to reset the scale. This also sets the Aria WiFi. To default.
Now follow the directions and connect the phones WiFi to the Aria scales WiFi. Once connected, hit continue on the app.

@moTMan are you saying that a fellow user who is asking for help, because of failure of them reading the instructions has convinced you to switch companies?
In your 4 hours, did you reach out to support and have them step you through the setup

I was told several times to go down the wrong path and several times was left without any answer. I waded though page after page of this issue and it's rude jerks like yourself make working with Fitbit difficult. Keep your arrogance .. I'll move to Apple.

Are you sure that you have the original Aria? There is 2 different methods that can be used to set this scale up. Neither method works with the other 2 tracker models.
