Hi @nednettoc.  Fitbit removed GUEST weigh-ins some time ago.  It's my understanding that this was done for privacy concerns.  Fitbit weights weren't as private as they claimed in their advertising.  The key is to get the scale to recognize the user.  A scale is supposed to assign a weight to a guest if it is 8 lbs (about 3.5 kg) from a known user's weight.  My Aria 2 will make me a guest for no apparent reason.  I can get it to recognize me by weighing myself in socks, although I don't know why this works.  I get a head with a question mark icon, then I step off and follow the steps to assign it to me.  I repeat it in bare feet until it recognizes me.

This doesn't seem to be an option if you have an original Aria.  Likewise, I don't have an option if the reason is the eight pound difference.
