@REK1 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear about the "ERR" message that your Aria shows when trying to connect to your network. I would like to know a couple of details that will help me to determine the cause of the issue: Have you made changes to your network (router, router settings or WiFi password)? What's the make and model of your router?

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

Thank u in advance for your suggestions. I did relocate and both scales were functioning well prior. I now have an xfinity dual band Wi-Fi router model:TG1682G made by Arris

@REK1 Thank you for getting back! Since you mentioned that you have an Xfinity router, here is a workaround that has helped most users. For this, follow the instructions below:

  • Log into comcast/xfinity account
  • Once logged in,  visit https://internet.xfinity.com/more
  • Edit wifi settings under "Additional Settings"
  • Click on 2.4 frequency edit button.
  • Select g/n, hit save.
  • When the screen refreshes, click edit again, select b/g/n and hit save.
  • Stand on scale
  • Continue with the regular setup process

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

I'm having the exact same issue, and the same comcast host. When I go to the site you linked, there is no additional settings to click, nor a 2.4 frequency edit button. In the network tab, there is the 2.4 frequency, but no option to edit the g/n settings, looked under advanced too.

I looked for a long time and also could not find a wifi edit button.

I contactacted Xfinity store and they said the freq should automatically change over to accomodate the devices.

I went and bought a different scale as I received minimal support and still cannot connect my Three Fitbit scales. It has induced me to go to Apple I watch over Fitbit.
I think it is poor that you can only communicate thru ztwitter.

I do understand your frustration, it took me months to connect my scale, and I couldn’t find an answer in the Fitbit FAQ, until finally I found this community with the explanation. Too bad you couldn’t find the wifi edit, I was able to get to it following the directions that JuanJoFitbit provided.
