Hi,
I am a Fitbit enthusiast and I was toying with the idea to get an Aria 2. However, I do not have a private WiFi (in short, I use the college one as I will live on campus for a bit). Due to College policy (and technical limitations) I cannot connect such devices to the WiFi network. Will the Aria 2 work without WiFi? Can I select to have it sync the data just using Bluetooth? Thanks!

Hi @The_Car_A_Carn you need an internet connection to use the bluetooth in order to sync the data from the Aria to the Fitbit servers. Have you asked the college if a scale would be acceptable to use?

Hello @The_Car_A_Carn and a warm welcome. The Aria 2 syncs to your account over WiFi. If your college's WiFi policies prevent connecting devices to the system, you will not be able to set up the Aria 2. The Aria Air does connect by Bluetooth. But it does not calculate percent body fat. The Aria Air is still listed as available for pre-order in the Fitbit store. It is still not on the list of devices that can be added to your account.
