Is the newest model no longer manufactured & sold-by (& compatible with) Fitbit?  I was going to ask some questions related to their abilities, integration, etc.. and whilst although I can probably engage with folks thay have experience with it, the the fact that the board disclaims as effevrively abstaining from official guidance or whathaveyou is discouraging.

Hi, @Victamon! What's your question? The newest model is technically the Aria Air, which is the slimmed down version without wifi. It was released in 2019, I think Fitbit has just made the decision to move away from scales in general.

Ah too bad.  It would be nice to have a body composition scale linked to Fitbit app.  or atleast one for weight, to put values automatically into that metrics record.. as that isn't something I track closely myself and its a lil annoying seeing it so I just put in a value one time within my normal range and never changed it since. same with tracking intake oc 'wate' or fluidsr---- never ever logged that. seems pointless, for a variety of reasons.. but if it was at least somewhat automized then it could be worth tracking in that way. but not manually.  just my two cents.

The Aria Air does link to the app through Bluetooth. I seem to recall that you had to manually initiate it. It doesn't have body composition. The older Aria models (Aria and Aria 2) are still functional. Might be worth looking into getting one secondhand if you're looking for automation and body composition. I still have one of each and they both work. I know there are 3rd party products that can also automatically sync, but I don't know which ones work at this point.
