There has been a consistent difficulty with setting up the Aria Air scale since Fitbit moved to Google. When attempting to pair the device, an error occurs. Scale issue.jpg

"Has there been any updates on resolving this issue?"

It doesn't appear there has been.  I returned my scale as I had just purchased it, and was happy to find this thread because it was obvious then Fitbit wasn't taking it seriously.  Hopefully anybody that has bought the scale recently has returned it instead of waiting or a fix that probably will never come.

Glad to at least know it wasn't my error.

I like those science fiction movies where everything is integrated and is stable and flies and is fun. You are losing this. That also applies for chrome remote desktop mobile app.

All I can say is: me too.
Doesn’t work error as described elsewhere.
Attempts to get customer support result in no result.
Will return scale if not resolved before return period due to end.

This has now been 2 months with no resolution.

It's been a long time @scottmckx since this problem started, and I haven't seen anything from Fitbit in quite a while. I'd return this now while you can. If they fix it next week and you really want it, you can buy again.

Any response on how to fix this. You would think they would be able to fix something like this quickly. Since Google is such a big company I’m having the same issue as everybody else when trying to sync my scale, it says something went wrong. Please help

I don’t think they’re ever going to fix this issue 😡

I had been using my scale with no problems until this week… I’ve had it for almost a year. I’m frustrated because one day it was working and the next it wasn’t. Thanks Google.

I see they are not resolving this issue. Would a different Fitbit scale work? I want the money off it that I’ve wasted on my aria air. Has anyone been issued a credit? What a lot of landfill these redundant scales are going to make. Shame on you google/Fitbit for not addressing this.  Who can recommend another system that actually works?

How about a new scale one that works and a refund for the cost of this one
I have been a Fitbit use for a long time

It's not the scale that is the problem, it is the Fitbit app/Google
interface that does not work. There are many people who had a working setup
until they moved from Fitbit authentication to Google.

Absolutely, I linked to google and now it won’t pair. That’s not what I paid for.

True. I bought the INSMART scale for 16.00 on Amazon and it syncs to Fitbit.

I had one until I broke my phone and replaced it. I had to re-login to the app and the scale said "Nope!"

The scale even shows up, with my last weigh-in, when I try to pair it and get the error.

I have literally hundreds of weight logs from this scale, up to September 10.

When is Google going to sort this fiasco out?

Make sure you ask this question of Google too. Fitbit is a small fish in
comparison with Google. Give Google grief and something may happen.

Fitbit won't exist for very much longer. Google bought it and is strangling it to death.

If they wanted to be good instead of evil, they'd at least open their device API so we could do this ourselves.
