Did you mean:

You know you're a Fitbit addict when...

  • You pace the house to get to a particular figure before going to bed
  • You sit down when recharging as you don't want to 'waste' any steps
  • You park further away from the shops to gain extra steps

Addicted to Fitbit  YEAH   I think I can see a well worn track around the carpeted parts of the house when i'm doing those extra steps to get that quota.

feeling like some naughty little boy looking at porn on the net when my partner catches me on the "Dashboard" seeing just where I'm at.  Or walking back to the mailbox to check for anything and she says you realise they only come once a year except Xmas, which reminds me I have a Fitbit for her daughter for Xmas which if she becomes addicted we both agree will be a good thing.

When you touch your belt numerous times a day to be sure your FB is there. (even when you aren't wearing it).

You become the model of inefficiency-you make numerous trips up the stairs carrying things you could have done in one trip, you walk back and forth each time you take an item of clothing out of the dryer to hang it up....

Oh yeah, finding more ways to move around. Dance about while brushing your teeth and hair? Run around and chase the cat for more steps?

Addicted and it feels so good.....

You plan out a schedule to charge the Fitbit just before going out of town so you won't get caught with a low battery.

I've only had my FitBit Flex for one week and I am already addicted. I wore it to my friend's wedding with all my bangles (I'm south Asian) and was most proud of my Flex, haha. I made 10,000 steps yesterday!!

That's what I am talking about, addiction is addition in a good way. Add me as your friend for the 10K...

You know those car ads that say "X thousand miles or X months, whichever comes first"?  Well, my addiction is to say X thousand steps or X miles, whichever comes LAST!  Today it is 30 thousand steps or 15 miles, whichever comes last.  I think it's going to be the miles that come last.  Oh well, at least I'll get more steps!

  • You are in Subway waiting to order a sandwich but someone else is ahead of you.  Instead of just waiting in line to place your order--walk around in the store to get extra steps in.
  • You are up at 4:30 a.m. looking for your fitbit because you forgot to wear it while you were alseep.

Only a "CRAZY" person would talk to a Fitbit device and then have Conversations during the day as well, Just Saying or ( just sane )

Best Answer

Chuck, what do you mean only a "Crazy" person would talk to their device? My Flex didn't tell me I was crazy earlier...and it never lies to me.

Love that.  I've only had my fitbit for a few days and--"I'm Gayle and I'm a fitbit addict".  I now walk to the gym to get in those extra steps before and after I work out. I'm always looking for more stairs to walk up at every opportunity.Smiley Very Happy

OH my gosh yes! I have also realized it doesn't pick up quite as much when cycling. So on recovery songs I put my had on my leg so it counts the steps! Bahahaha! This made me laugh!

Not yet!  Maybe if cast adrift in the sea, like Tom Hanks?  Perhaps, but hope not!

except for zip users, WE ALL DO, when we press the button or tap tap tap tap tap on the flex before we go to bed, that saying "good night", and same again in the morning when we wake up, that's our "good morning"
