The 1st pin on the charger to the far left is stuck in and thus the watch will not charge unless I push on the sides of the charger very hard.

I have had this issue with both the charger that came with it and two replacement chargers I bought. Can anyone recommend a 3rd party charger that doesn't have this issue, at least not after less than 12 months of use?

I was looking at the upgrade offer to Sense 2, I'm reluctant to do this only because the charger system is the same as for the original Sense. Looks like I'm waiting for the Sense 3, if it fixes this issue. Or you could fix the charger for them all.

Yeah, the charger design is terrible, and the warranty is worthless. This is a huge issue and they need to fix it. I’ve already gone through 6 chargers. I won’t be buying a Fitbit ever again.

Just be careful. When my 1st sense overheated, Fitbit did refund me but part of the process was to take a picture of the charger I was using and they asked that the photo clearly showed the fitbit logo on the charger. This suggests that had I not been using the official charger, they may have claimed using a non approved charger invalidates warranty. I cant be sure as I was using the official charger but requesting the photo showed the logo suggests they may not have approved my claim has I been using a replica.

Same problem here. I'm sick of buying OEM chargers. Can't use the warranty solution because I must buy them ahead of time and by the time I get to the ones I buy ahead they last a couple of months and pin gets stuck. I'm thinking I'll buy some online off-brand, use them carefully while watching for overheating, and if one of them ruins my Sense, I'll start using a different fitness watch.

This is a serious drawback and I regret replacing my Garmin Vivoactive 3, which is still working and charging after 4 years. FitBit you got be paying attention, this is a premium stuff

Same with me 10+ cables in a year, Fitbit should redesign the spring systen for the pins.

How can this be the best answer except for newbies. If you are out of warranty then what is the best answer?

I did go to the Fitbit Chat support. Within 15 minutes I was told that a new charger was on its way. No questions about when I bought it or Warranty.
Here is the link. Just click on CHAT. Hoping I will get a new charger soon.

I switched from Fitbit to Garmin and have had no trouble with charging. The "straw that broke the camel's back" was not just that the chargers were crummy, but I had almost 2 years of 10,000+ steps per day and as I was reaching that magic milestone, the steps all disappeared! I investigated getting them restored, but nobody could help. Goodby, Fitbit! Garmin chargers fit all (or most) of the watch types. Garmin is also a very sturdy and reliable device.

Same issue here! I'm chatting with them now. Did ANYONE have any luck with them sending replacements?
