250+Steps not matching between Blaze & App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My blaze says that I have gotten all of the 250+ steps during the day. But when it syncs with the app there is a dot missing. It's not a matter of the blaze not knowing or stating that I've reached 250+steps, it's that the app will not match the blaze.

A warm welcome to the Forums @MPtacek4. Have you checked the reminders to move option? If you haven't, I recommend verifying this information by doing the following from a computer:

1. Go to Settings

2. Go to Blaze

3. Go to Reminders to Move

4. Check your information

If it needs to be edited, please edit it, save the information and sync it.

Let me know how it goes. Woman Happy

Those settings are correct. I don't think you understand the real issue. My fitbit blaze says that I walk the 250 steps for that hour. But it did not synchronize it to the app. The blaze is correct, and it counts up from 0 to 250 and when you reach that before the time change, you get credit for on the Blaze.  Why am I getting credit on the blaze but not the app? Why won't the app realize that the blaze already says I got all 250  steps for that hour?

I hit my all-time high:

FITBIT = 12/12

App 9/12

It also show that the ones missed are AFTER the sync is complete because the final dot is solid!

ALSO, you can tell it's for the same day because it says TODAY and the miles are the same!

Hey FitBit - Take what the DEVICE says and not Recalculate what the App THINKS I did.

The device counts from 0 to 250 - TRUST IT!!!!!

I had the same issue, today. My Blaze showed 12/12 and my app showed 11/12. The one missing on the app was the one in the middle.

Welcome.. I have found the same thing and analysed it on the PC Dashboard by creating manual activities for the hours at fault.

My result was missing a few steps, no more than 10, at the start or at the very end. I put that down to a 10 second difference between my Blaze, phone and my PC and the World Time Clock.

If Fitbit's accuracy is +/- 5% that should be built into the calculation.

Here are some examples, the first shows the PC Dashboard with the missing "dot" and the steps are correct for 250 steps.

The 2nd and 3rd images show a successful recording but when you examine the steps in the PC Dashboard the are steps missing in the Activity Log, but 1 minute later they are there. But, it was successful on the Blaze and the PC Dashboard.

These examples show where you can get the missing activity, especially if you hurry near the end of the hour..
