3 month old Blaze won't charge

I've been using my Blaze for about 3 months now with the usual 3 days battery life happy as larry.  A few days ago I noticed the low battery icon in the top left and put it on to charge but by the morning it had completely drained and would only show a large empty battery with a small slither of red flashing on the left.  I've followed all known advice:~

* I've shutdown the device

* Rebooted with left and bottom right key

* Tried charging with phone charger and computer usb

* I've installed the windows 10 app and forced a new setup

It seems to be syncing fine when its docked with the computer, I know this because when I plugged it in and setup the app it updated my fitbit's time.

I hope you can help

Hi there @Koopr. Good to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Blaze not responding 😕

Thanks a lot for trying all those troubleshooting steps! Now... since you mentioned that it seems to be syncing when connected to the computer, do you see anything coming up on the display or it's syncing only and the display is dead?

If you could, while docked to your computer, restart your Blaze... You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Let me know if this makes any difference and I'll be happy to help if you need more assistance!

1 tap of the screen when docked with the computer shows the large empty flashing battery.  2 showed the default home screen with time etc. From there I'm only able to swipe up or down to show notifications or the mp3 controls. I can only get at the buttons if I pop the hatch and keep the fitbit pressed into the dock.

Rebooting the fitbit like that shows the logo and then back to not charging.

I am having the EXACT same issue with mine. It says here this was resolved for you, but the resolution isn't posted here. What was wrong and how did it get resolved?

Thanks,

Bruce

It was set as resolved because there was no fix and they sent me a new one. Sorry pal

No worries. I got on the support chat and they're replacing mine also. It behaves like the battery is in deep discharge, but I know my wife would never let it drain that far. Anyway, they apparently stand by their products. This one was 4 months out of warranty.

I had my own lengthy post prepared and never posted it. 🙂

Thanks,

Bruce
