Had my device for a week now, and there's absolutely no way that it could possibly get 5 days battery life. Maybe with absolutely everything turned off, never syncing it, you could have a really fancy pedometer that lasts 4-5 days. But I didn't buy it for that, I bought it specifically for the battery life and the HRM and to use that, you're never going to get anywhere near 5 days. I don't use timers, notifications, or any of the other features at all.
Fully charged Saturday night, start wearing sunday morning, dead by tuesday. Recharge to full, put back on in evening, dead by today (friday). 2.5 days is all I get. Like I get the sales pitch aspect of telling everyone it will last 5 days, but there's no way on earth the fitbit team had no idea it wouldn't last anywhere near 5 days if you actually use the features of the watch. And I'm not even obsessive about it, I literally open the app once a day to check my resting HR and my sleep. I don't look at the watch, I'm not swiping through the screens on it.
Imagine if this is how we started advertising all battery based electronics, "New iphone lasts 3 weeks on one charge **In airplane mode, in a cupboard**"
It wouldn't even be so bad if it was like 4 days it was lasting, at least then it would be close. But 50% of advertised is pretty pathetic. Honestly it does the job I wanted it to do and I plan on using it until it dies, but really I'm extremely disappointed and this will definitely be the last fitbit product I ever purchase.

I'm new to the Fitbit Tracker Devices and I've had the Blaze for 1 week this past Thursday (3/24/16). I'm having to charge the battery every 2 days if not sooner.
@AlSo, the device hasn't sync in over 24+ hours, the last sync was 3/24/16 @ 10:43am. I have logged in and out of the app and it still not syncing.
Not sure if I made the right choice.

Hi there guys @DLaw1 @Denniswm. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂
I'm sorry you're having this problem with the battery on your trackers. As you stated before, the battery should last for about 4-5 days with a regular usage so getting about 2.5 days from a full charge is definitely not okay.
Please take a look at this thread for a user having similar issues. I provided some advice you could try.
Let me know if you need any more help!

Hey @11butterscotch. Good to see you around!
Sorry about that, I guess it was a typo. It should be 5 days with a regular usage as you can see on this article. I mentioned that it should be between 4-5 days depending on the usage. For example, I exercise regularly and keep track of my workouts with my Blaze but some days, I have other things to do and I can not exercise. On the days that I don't exercise, I don't check my tracker very often other than about 4-5 times every hour and don't really make use of the exercise tracking feature, music control or timer, so when I don't use it very much, I get 5 days of battery life but the days that I do exercise and I use the features other than just the clock, I need to charge it before 5 days. It will all depend on the usage you give it but 2.5 days shouldn't be okay.
Hope this clarifies my statement above and again, sorry about the typo.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I have everything turned on except for All-Day Sync. I turned it off because it automatically syncs each time I access the app. I use the music control when on walks and hikes, as well as Connected GPS.
This is my second week and I'm on my 7th day now with more to go. The first week I charged it after 6 days, but could have gone longer since there was no low battery warning. This time I'm going to wait for the warning to see how long the battery will last and confirm that I get a warning.
Since I don't track my sleep, I Shutdown the Blaze at night.

Check the setting "Quick View", I found with my Charge HR that my natural movement turned on the display a LOT. You may be having a similar issue with your Blaze. Try turning it off. Also don't leave the app running on your phone as it will sync more frequently, which will use a lot more battery. Also if you get a lot of messages and a lot of calendar reminders it could turn the display on enough to decrease battery.
As someone coming back from Apple Watch 2-3 days battery is GREAT! Just fyi.
