A couple of question about Excercise modes

Hey Fitbit users.  Just getting started with my new Fitbit Blaze and I had a few questions about the Exercise modes

What is "Work out" mode?
I see Bike, Run, Elliptical, Weights, etc. and these all make sense, but what does "Work out" stand for?  Is it just Aerobics/Core routines (stretching, planks, jumping jack, etc.)?

What is the benefit of using one type of workout mode versus another when the summary data is the same?
If you look at the post summary information across multiple modes, there are a few that have exactly the same information.  For example, both "Weights" and "Work out" measure time, avg heart rate, max heart rate and calories burned.  Why are there two different modes if they both track the same info?

Regarding the App ... If you tap into the "Excercise" page, can I filter my exercise routines?
I like that I can see a list of each of the exercise routines I tracked.  However, it's seems extremely cumbersome to only have 1 big list of everything I have done across all days.  Am I missing something?  Is it possible to filter routines by day?  By exercise mode?  By Hear Rate Zone? etc?

Thanks for reading, any feedback is appreciated.

I'll be glad to answer these questions for you.

What is "Work out" mode?

Workout mode is a way to categorize any specific exercise that is not included in the exercises list. Each exercise will record your activity using specific algorithms for each of them to be able to track the most out of them. Now, when you can't find the specific activity you're looking for, you can use Workout mode and it will be a general category for your activity.

What is the benefit of using one type of workout mode versus another when the summary data is the same?

Basically, as explained above, the benefit is that each exercise will be tracked using specific algorithms that will give you more accurate results and in the case you use the workout mode, it will record your exercise as a general activity for you to be able to keep track of it.

Regarding the App ... If you tap into the "Excercise" page, can I filter my exercise routines?

At the moment, you can not filter specific exercise routines or sort them by day, exercise mode or heart rate zones. You can make this suggestion in the Feature Suggestions board where others will be able to vote for it and if many users find it helpful and vote, there's a chance that our team will work on it to make it available. Click here to go to the Feature Suggestions board.

Hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have any other doubt!
