Hi there,
I was just wondering if a mild heart condition can have any affect on a Fitbit's monitor?
Previously, I owned a Charge HR and after a while it stopped picking up a RHR. I thought it was just on it's way out as I'd had it for a few years at this point. Anyway, I stopped using Fitbit for over a year due to travel but within that year I was diagnosed with Atrial Ectopic Rhythm, as I was in severe pain. I've recently purchased the Blaze and I'm so excited to stuck in but I've noticed that it is reading the same as my Charge HR.
It will show a RHR on the Blaze, in activity, but wont register on the app. Reading through other forums; I have rebooted the device, turned the HR on and off, synced it multiple times but still nothing is registering on the app regardless of the fact that the Blaze can pick up a RHR.
I know that my heart rate is a little volatile; is there any explanation as to why this happening? Could this just be a tech issue? I'd be interested to know.

A warm welcome to the Community @Scarleycat8. Having a mild heart condition not affect the functionality of the heart rate monitor. This is because of the PurePulse technology that your tracker uses as the LED lights on your device reflect onto the skin to detect blood volume changes and finely tuned algorithms are applied to measure heart rate automatically and continuously.
Regarding the issue you're having that it's not registering heart rate in your app, I appreciate the troubleshooting that you've done. I would like you to provide me with a picture of what you're seeing in your app and what you're getting in your Blaze.
Additionally, please confirm you're wearing your Blaze by following the tips provided in this article What should I know about my heart rate data?.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
