I only have one issue with Fitbit and this may be the same for all wrist wearable devices. The issue I have is when I go grocery shopping or when I am the one pushing our toddler stroller.
Since my hand is on the handle and not moving, Fitbit does not recognize most of the steps I am taking. The work-a-round is that I have to take off my straps and keep it in my pocket. Not the worst thing when grocery shopping, but when I am on a walk with the stroller, I would still like to keep my heartbeat monitor a part of my walk as well as seeing on my wrist how many steps I have on the walk.
I would purchase a separate pairing device if Fitbit came out with one that would strap to the ankle literally to only count steps and heartbeat. Nothing to do with notifications, music and everything else. Only steps and/or heartbeat.
