Hi,

1) just wondering how do i set my blaze so its not that sensitive as it tracks steps even when im asleep and havent walked anywhere.

2)The gps also is not accurate when i turn my Bluetooth on.

3) i noticed today that its only showing 1.5kms but ive done more than 10, 000 steps but others have done more than 5kms also with 10,000 steps.

4) my Fitbit said i was active for 11 mins when i chopped sweet potato and pumpkin.  How do i change it to make it more accurate?

Hi there @GayleA90 @CHICKEY17,. Great to see you both in the Community Forums! 🙂

@GayleA90, I can recommend restarting your tracker just to make sure it's all going to be recognized accurately. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.  This should help for your tracker not to over count steps while you're sleeping and other things that could not be working fine.

Also, check your personal settings. Make sure that your stride lenght is correctly entered as this will help determine the distance when you're not using GPS.

When using GPS, make sure that you are in an open area where trees or tall buildings will not block the GPS signal as this could be a reason why the signal is weak.

Now, last, you can not change the sensitivity on your tracker for counting steps/active minutes. Fitbit trackers have a finely tuned algorithm for step counting. The algorithm is designed to look for intensity and motion patterns that are most indicative of people walking and running.  When working at a desk, cooking, or doing other arm movements, a tracker on your wrist can pick up some extra steps if it thinks you're walking. Many of these situations—such as working or cooking—do include a few steps in-between stationary periods so the tracker tries to give you credit for those steps. For the vast majority of users, the amount of stray steps accumulated is negligible when compared to the entire day.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes!
