Please add netball to the activity list as we're not allowed to wear our Fitbit whilst playing!

Hi, @Hsdent12343, you can add this yourself as a custom activity. Use your web based activity page to do this. Once it is added it should be available to you on your app.

So you can't wear your Fitbit playing volleyball? That's bs. That's like telling soccer players they can't use their left foot while playing the game.

@Driver8666no one stated you could not wear your fitbit during these activities. When did you get that from?
It was suggested to add as a custom activity.

It's not that @WendyB OP said she couldn't wear it while playing volleyball. That thought alone is completely absurd. That's like telling me I could not wear mine to work. I added soccer because all you're doing is walking around on a field. I was going to add "soccer riots" and "soccer hooligans" but someone might take offense, so I left that out and changed it to something else.
While you can add it as custom activity the whole premise remains not wearing it while playing is ridiculous. Since the Blaze measures heart rate, it serves as a benefit to wearing it. If I was told that, I'd tell that person to shove it (Since this is a PG rated site, at best I'd use that other 4 letter word, but this is not Grand Theft Auto, where, yes I do use that 4 letter word. All the time).

@Driver8666, different coaches and different leagues have their own rules. I have heard a number of people report that they are not allowed to wear jewellery or anything on their wrists while playing certain sports. Presumably this is to avoid any possible risk of injury to other players. In that case, if one wants a record of the activity, the best advice is to create a manual log, or, if available, to wear a body worn tracker (like the Fitbit One or Zip), since you can have more than one tracker linked to your account.

Stop being so superior. Netball rules don't allow you to wear any jewellery during games to prevent injury. If you don't like the rules don't play the game. I'm going to try wear my blaze in my bra. Thanks for the tip.
I would also like netball added as an activity. I know I can add it but the point is I don't know distance or calories!
Thanks

Alot of people actually do that but make sure it doesn't get lost. I'm not being superior, I'm thinking it's ridiculous. I wear mine to work and if I was told I couldn't, I'd be using that 4 letter word I use playing Grand Theft Auto Online.
But I took another look at it. Just depends on where your watch is on your wrist I guess.

We can use in training, what mode would you use for netball?

Hi, @Cheryl40 I would recommend tracking it as a “workout”. After it syncs to the app you can change the name to netball if you like.

@HannahJC What needs sorting? It's just community members discussing an activity. Fitbit wasn't even involved.
