Is anyone else having any issues adding friends ? My husband and I just purchased new blaze fitbits and it won't let us add each other we accept the requests countless times and it'll show like we're already friends but then seconds later shows me the friend request again. Even when it says I accepted and he's on my friends list I try messaging him and it says we are not friends. PLEASE HELP!!😭😭

Hi there @Klove214. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂

I would recommend logging out of your Fitbit account and logging back in with the same email address and password. Ask your husband to do the same and then try to add him again.

You can choose to add friends by one of the following methods:

  • Contacts—See your contacts who have Fitbit accounts and those who don't. Invite anyone to be a Fitbit friend. The Fitbit apps for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 also show you friends of friends. Friends of friends appear only if your friends do no privatize their friends list. (Not available on the fitbit.com dashboard)
  • Facebook—If you choose to connect with Facebook, see your friends who also have Fitbit accounts linked to Facebook. Invite anyone to be a Fitbit friend.  You can later revoke access to Facebook from your Fitbit account by changing your settings on your fitbit.com dashboard, or through the settings on your mobile device. If you have more than one Facebook account, you can only link one to your Fitbit account.
  • Email—Type in the email address of anyone to want to invite to Fitbit.

From your app, do the following:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Friends tab.
  2. Tap the + button in the top right corner.
  3. Choose the method with which you want to connect to your friends and follow the onscreen instructions.

Hope this helps and let me know if you still need more help!
