Alarm repeating next day when it's set to go off one time only

Hello Fitbit team. I just wanted to bring to your attention to an issue with the silent alarm on the Fitbit Blaze. When setting a one-off alarm, the Fitbit app automatically keeps the alarm active after activation and it will again activate the same time on the next day. It's a small thing but when we have an option of setting the days, this option should be a once-off alarm.

Also, can we have the option to name the alarm so it shows on the blaze for the next update? Would be handy to name our reminders rather than just seeing alarm for all.

Hi there @philwood11. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I just tried setting an alarm from the Blaze directly and well, it went off at the time that I set it to and after that, it appears with the bell icon in red and a line across it, showing that it's been disabled. It's strange that it's staying enabled for you... I'd like to know... Are you setting up the alarm from your tracker or from the Fitbit app?

Have you tried by any chance to restart your Blaze? If not, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. After that, set a test alarm and see if that makes any difference.

Now, about the option to name alarms, I really find that very useful and there is actually an existing feature suggestion for this. Feel free to add your vote and any comments you may have and hopefully we can see it implemented soon. Click here to see it.

Anything else, I'm here to help! 🙂
