Algorithm Changes?

I have noticed several changes in my fitbit's readings lately. Starting with the issues several of us experienced with sleep stages, I have seen other changes as well.

I haven't changed my exercise regime or diet in quite some time, and I have been seeing improvements in almost everything, from resting heart rate to weight. Lately I noticed that my resting heart rate in increasing with no indication as to why. Furthermore, my usual run's stats are quite different, even the (albeit incorrect) floor count is different. I run on a trail that has many inclines and declines so usually it adds up to 7 floors to my stats. Now it doesn't add any.

I don't have any problem with these changes, I was just wondering if it was me or if the fitbit's calculations are changing (for the best, hopefully).

Hi there guys @SunriseGirl @Taxitai. Great to see you in the Forums! 🙂

I don't have any official information about this nor have I seen any firmware update that could have included those fixes but it's great to hear that some of the functions seem to be working better and that you're being able to notice this.

I'd say keep an eye on the forums for any official confirmation and any other questions you may have, let me know!

I have noticed a small increase in my resting heart rate from the consistent range it had been for the past 1.5 years.  I would hope and love if they are able to increase accuracy by all means available including  algorithms.
