Am I able to use Connected GPS?

I pre-ordered the Blaze, and was fine with the idea of connected GPS.  My phone has GPS, I always use it for Strava bike rides and such, no problem.  But I just realized - my phone is an older model.  Galaxy SII, which is old enough that it does not "sync" with my Flex.  I've never cared much, I sync with my wireless dongle at the computer, so no big deal.

But it just occurred to me - am I not going to be able to use the GPS of the Blaze because of my older model phone?

And if not, can I bring my Strava data into Fitbit so it will know my distance, route, etc?  I do have the accounts connected.

S2 will not not connect, as with your Flex.

think to change your phone.

you will be able to connect, and the GPS accuracy will be better.

GPS on my old S3 takes a few seconds to localize.

GPS on S2 takes a few minutes.

Hi, @stacy_19201325 to answer your other question, yes, you can connect your Strava account to your Fitbit account.  See this help article for more information.

Galaxy S II? WOW.

Yeah the S2 is pretty ancient. I don't want to knock people's reasonings for not updating, but that is like a century in technology timelines. You can't realistically expect brand new products to support products that are 5-7 years old.
