Am I doing something wrong

I have a blaze and we are going to be going to visit a new great-grandbaby. I wanted to get a clip on tracker so that I don't lose my steps while pushing a stroller, so I got a zip. This morning to test the zip I wore both. The numbers were off by like 2,500 steps. The zip had more steps then the blaze. I wasn't pushing a stroller today I was just out for a walk like always. Am I wearing the blaze wrong or is there something wrong with it that it is so inaccurate. Anybody have any ideas.

Hi @Ruth_anne_b. Welcome to the Fitbit Community. I'm thrilled to have you here! 🙂

When it comes  to using two trackers on the same account, there are some considerations you should keep in mind.

Wearing a combination of trackers simultaneously does not provide any more features than wearing trackers individually. If you're interested in wearing more than one tracker at once so you can compare their data, you can do so by creating a separate account for each tracker.

If your account has multiple trackers and you forget to take one off before putting on another, rest assured we’ll reconcile the overlapping data to present the most accurate information possible on your dashboard. For example, if one of your trackers is using GPS and another is not, your dashboard chooses the GPS data when calculating total distance since GPS provides a more accurate distance measurement than step counting alone. However, the more overlapping data that exists on your account, the more likely it is that your dashboard's accuracy will suffer. For best results, do not wear more than one tracker at a time and sync each tracker before taking it off and putting on another.

Hope you find this information helpful and if you need anything else, let me know. I'll be happy to help! 🙂
